MONO is a Magti GSM prepaid card. It enables you to deposit the appropriate sum in your account at any time. It is a simple procedure that saves both time and energy.

The MONO card enables you to establish total control over your mobile-related expenditure. Another convenience of MONO is that cards are available in 3 different denominations   - GEL 30, GEL 60 and GEL 120.

How to Use MONO

Forget about your bills and time lost in queues: just purchase an appropriate MONO card, scratch off the protective silver layer and read the unique 12-digit code.  Then dial 444 to call the MONO service centre, listen to the instructions given by the answering machine, dial the 12-digit code and your MONO card will be activated. As you do this the USD equivalent of the amount indicated on the card will automatically be deposited in your account. You will be provided with a service within the limits of the sum available on your account, from which airtime usage charges will be deducted.

The time of the MONO card activation will be specified as a maximum seven-day period between the fixing of currency exchange rates in the Magti GSM billing system, e.g. if the exchange rate in Magti GSM system is fixed on Monday, and the next fixing is effected on Friday of the same week, the USD equivalent of your MONO advance activated between Monday and Friday will be deposited on your account at the Monday rate.

Our Service Centre 444 offers you a 24 hour service. Calls are free of charge and are available even when your outgoing calls have been disconnected.

Things to Remember

The turnover of credit in your account is fully automated. In order to use your mobile phone you have to make an advance payment for service charges, i.e. purchase the appropriate type of MONO card and activate it.

 Please pay attention to the following terms and conditions:

If you have used up the sum on your account and have not yet activated a new card, the company will allow to you to receive incoming calls for up to 30 days.
If a new advance payment is not made within 7 days from disconnection of the incoming call service your number will automatically be annulled. Your SIM card will become invalid and you will not be able to reactivate it.

The advance sum on your account must be used within 60 days from the MONO activation date, otherwise it is annulled. Several days prior to the end of the 60 days a subscriber will receive information on the credit expiry date at the end of each call.

If there are 5 incorrect attempts of entering a 12-digit prepaid system code, the SIM card will automatically be blocked. However, the number will be re-activated in 48 hours.

MONO has a service life like all other products. It is indicated by the activation deadline shown on the reverse side of the card. The card must be activated before the date indicated, otherwise it becomes invalid.

Rounding Up Rules

The MONO system uses a 30 second rounding up system e.g. if the duration of the call is 1 minute and 20 seconds, the charge will be for 1 minute and 30 seconds. This rule is applied to calls made within Georgia as well as to the CIS and international calls.
