Made  in MAGTIWIN

From times immemorial, man has sought to make life comfortable and to make this comfort available for as many people as possible. The first steam-machine was invented in the 19th century. This discovery has made energy an essential source of comfort.

This was indeed a great development… Over the years, demand for energy grew to such extent that in the 1960-70s, the energy crisis gripped many developed countries of the world. At that time this problem left the Soviet Union unaffected. In the competing countries, however, energy-saving technologies were urgently
created and implemented in everyday life and industries.

This is the same time when new technologies for manufacturing pipelines, irrigation systems and doors and windows from plastic materials emerged and gained a foothold in the USA and Western Germany. Heat-retaining insulation, outer coating and lining materials for walls were also being refined.

A particularly durable plastic – polyvinyl chloride – was selected, especially for windows, to safeguard people from harmful environmental impacts.

If its components are selected correctly, the ultraviolet rays or the variations of winter and summer temperatures do not affect this material. It is also inert to various chemical impacts and possesses a rather rare quality for plastic: it prevents fire from spreading (i.e. it has self-extinguishing properties).

The windows made from such material considerably decrease energy consumption during their manufacture and in their utilization. If there are any structural peculiarities in the building, such as the number of floors, inter-floor covering, or the thermal insulation of walls and roofs, the use of plastic windows decreases the costs of heating by half.

The durability of the polyvinyl chloride windows is equivalent to the ‘life’ of the building itself. Cleaning of the surface and oiling of the mechanisms on an annual basis is sufficient for their entire operational life.

Thermal insulation and the noise-proof properties of the glass package made by a special technology using "dry air"  add to these advantages.

Steel reinforcement is used to achieve mechanical firmness of the sections manufactured from polyvinyl chloride. In our country, windows made by this method are called ‘metal-plastic windows’.

In the 1990’s, energy crisis became the major problem in the countries of the Former Soviet Union whereas the most pressing topic of the day was the reduction of energy costs.

Our company was  established in 1996, and  Magtiwin launched the production of polyvinyl chloride doors and windows. Owing to our geographic proximity, we have selected the high-technology Turkish company Pimash as our partner. The quality of the company’s output is ensured by its conformity with the international ISO 9001 standard. It is remarkable that in this regard Pimash, is the only company whose products enjoy unrestricted access to the EU market, and, by the volume of its annual output  (25,000 tons), holds the fifth place among the European enterprises with a  similar profile.

However, poor quality products can be manufactured from good quality raw materials. Magtiwin managed to avoid this problem by hiring highly qualified specialists. Furthermore, it is worthwhile mentioning that our company is equipped with the top rated ELUMATEC equipment.

From 1997, Magtiwin launched production of vertical blinds using  Dutch components, and since 1999, the company has implemented many novelties – the preparation of high-quality picture frames using a famous English company’s components with centuries-old manufacturing traditions. These products aroused keen interest among our community. We offered attractive settlement terms for our customers: seven-month, interest-free payment by installments through our two partner banks – "Intellectbank" and "Basis Bank". A customer makes his first payment of 30% of the overall product cost; then he enters into an interest-free loan agreement with the partner bank, and covers the remaining 70% during the seven-month period.

From the spring of 2000, we have launched the production of doors, windows, and facades from aluminum sections. They are especially in demand for public buildings (stores, offices, hotels), but are also used for residential houses. Our partner is the Turkish company CUHADAROGLU - a holder of an ISO 9001 Certificate and a participant in many interesting projects, including the construction of the head offices for such well-known companies as the Sabanji Holding in Istanbul, and Gazprom in Moscow.

Since last summer, high quality locks and accessories (for doors inside and outside the house) of Italian design, recognized by an SO 9001 Certificate, have been offered to customers.

Since the fall, we have commenced manufacturing of the inbuilt and traditional furniture, using the special accessories of a variety of laminate and sliding doors produced by the Canadian company KOMANDOR. Design and arrangement of internal wardrobes is possible at one’s own choice, therefore, a client can become the designer of his own furniture. From the summer of 2001, we intend to launch production of kitchen furniture as well.

The company greeted the arrival of the New Year and the new century with yet another innovation – we have launched the manufacture of windows from new veneers of wood, which along with the best properties found in plastics, bring natural warmth to the homes.

People burdened with the thousands of  routine problems and worries of life are offered a large array of services and commodities. A comfortably furnished house and an office - this is what Magtiwin is happy to assist in creating.
