Joint Statement of Magticom Ltd and its Subsidiary, Delta Comm Ltd

In order to provide subscribers with fixed internet and television services, we use the electricity poles of JSC “Energo-Pro Georgia” in the regions. Naturally, this cooperation is regulated by a relevant agreement, and we duly fulfill all of its terms, including the payment of the agreed fees.

During the pre-New Year period, JSC “Energo-Pro Georgia” decided to artificially create obstacles to access its network (electricity poles), which was expressed through the introduction of certain restrictions. Initially, these restrictions affected the connection of new subscribers, and subsequently led to the establishment of a selective and prolonged “work” process for granting access necessary to restore damages identified during service provision. As a result of these artificial restrictions, we are currently deprived of the ability to connect new subscribers or restore service disruptions if such actions require access to electricity poles owned by JSC “Energo-Pro Georgia”.

The imposition of restrictions during the New Year period artificially intensifies public dissatisfaction. Consequently, negative public sentiment is being deliberately fostered.

We call on JSC “Energo-Pro Georgia” not to leave the population without internet and television services.
