First in Georgia 4.5G (LTE-Advanced) Network from MagtiCom

For the first time in Georgia MagtiCom will launch the latest version of the 4.5G network.

MagtiCom is the first among the mobile operators functioning in Georgia to start operating with the 4.5G (LTE -Advanced) network.

On May 31, 2016 the Company purchased the 800 MHz frequency spectrum by auction held by the National Communications Commission. The cost of the spectrum, 25,391,303 lari, will be fully channeled to the state budget of Georgia.

Currently MagtiCom is the first mobile operator in the Georgian market offering, by combining two frequency spectrums (LTE 800 and LTE 1800), the 4.5G (LTE-Advanced) network and the top-quality service with dramatically increased internet speed.
