1. Storing names and telephone numbers
You can store up to 100 phone numbers and names on your SIM card, allowing you to retrieve the information you require and make the call at any time you want. In order to do this, press keys é and 2 and enter the phone number and then the name. Use keys é and 1 to find entry by name.

2. You can choose the incoming call ring and the tone volume. To do this, press the Menu key to access the main menu options and then select the Phone Set-up sub menu by pressing è  and OK. To find the option you want, use the è key and press OK to select it.

3. If you want to set the ringer off, press é  and 8. The ringer will be reactivated by using the same combination of keys.

4. To turn off the microphone during the call, press é and 6. Using the same combination of keys, you can turn the microphone on again.

5. If you are tired of having to enter your four digit PIN every time you switch on your phone, you can cancel that by accessing the Phone Set-up and selecting Require SIM Card PIN by pressing OK. To remove the PIN code, select Off, press OK, then enter the PIN number and OK.

6. Motorola has not forgotten to offer its customers advice on service charges as we all tend to be so carried away by the conversation that we forget about the time. Activate your audible call meter and ten seconds before the end of the programmed time the timer will sound beeps to remind you of the duration of your call.

In order to set the timer, select Call Meters from the Menu Options, press the OK key, scroll down to Set Audible Call Timers and select On in Single Alert Timer by pressing è and double click the OK button.
