Operators and Countries
Roaming service allows you to use your mobile phone in various countries worldwide.
Magti GSM cares for its subscribers and gives them a chance to use a mobile phone and number while traveling abroad. At the same time, we would like to notify you that conditions of Roaming service are based on standard Roaming Agreement among Magti GSM and foreign GSM operators. In order to avoid unforeseen problems, we advise you to get familiarized with the peculiarities of Roaming before you leave.
When using Roaming service please take into account the following information and observe the underlined regulations:
1. Place a deposit on your account, read carefully the provided
information and request roaming service in writing.
Money can be deposited at Magti GSM Sales and Customer Care Offices
or branch offices of the Bank of Georgia both in GEL or foreign currency
at corresponding rate, with the bank interest charged.
Tariffs of Roaming Partners
2. Charges for the services provided by operators of other countries are paid in Georgia, together with standard airtime charges and subscription fees.
Magti GSM Sales and Customer Care Offices will provide you with the list, tariffs and calling rules of operators where Commercial Roaming is currently available. As for the prospective roaming partners, please call Magti GSM Information Center.
3. When using Roaming Service you pay for both incoming and outgoing calls.

Using Roaming Service within the territory of Georgia
Activation of Roaming service shall not affect the use of your mobile phone in Magti GSM network within the territory of Georgia except the territories adjacent to Azerbaijan and Turkey (e.g. Batumi city). In these regions you can run the risk to accidentally use the networks of the neighboring countries. You should be careful to avoid automatic replacing of networks. If your phone display shows an identification sign of any operator other than MagtiCom, MAGTI GSM or 282-02, you can select Magti GSM network manually from your phone menu. Otherwise you will use the mobile network of neighboring operator and pay service charges according to Roaming Tariffs of that operator.
It is dangerous and strictly prohibited to switch on a mobile phone on a board of an airplain. When you switch on your mobile phone in a foreign country, you will automatically start using the mobile network of that country. However, for technical reasons your mobile phone may not be able to automatically select the network. In this case you will have to make network selection manually.
Sequence of manual selection of network depends on phone menu, however the principle is the same irrespective of phone model: search and choose Network in phone menu, then go to "Available Networks" and switch automatic network selection to manual one. In both cases the network codes or operator brand names shall be displayed on the screen. In the countries where Magti GSM has commercial roaming with only one operator, your choice is predetermined, while where we have roaming with several companies, the choice is up to you. Tariffs, service quality and coverage area of the specific company will help you to make a proper choice. In order to receive detailed information regarding such companies please visit Magti GSM Sales and customer care Offices. One more point to be taken into consideration: irrespective of your choice, please pay attention to the brand name on your display. When the signal of the selected company is weak, your phone may, from time to time, automatically be switched to the network of other company with stronger signal, and you will have to go through the network selection process once again.
Please take into consideration that in a number of countries (Germany,
Israel, Estonia, etc.) for safety purpoces mobile phones are allowed to
be used while driving only in hands-free mode.
4. When the sum on your account is fully used, roaming service will be terminated and restored only after the refill. Experience shows that the deposited amount may be fully used till your arrival As a result, you may be deprived of roaming service. To avoid such problem please check your balance before departure and make sure proper amount of money is deposited.. If your advance is overdraft and the roaming service is terminated, the necessary amount may be transferred to you Magti GSM account from abroad, or a person in Georgia may pay debt and advance In both cases roaming service will be reactivated without any problem, though you will have to switch on your phone once again and repeat the network selection procedure.
When paying your debt, please take into consideration that according to the roaming agreement, operators may delay sending the information regarding roaming calls, and as a result, corresponding sums may appear in subsequent invoices.
5. Deposit may be withdrawn no earlier that 30 days after you request roaming service termination in writing.
Magti GSM thanks you for consideation and wishes you a happy journey.
